As one of the most influential companies within the fashion industry, our client is going from strength to strength and require an Ecommerce Merchandiser to analyse product trends, get products online and maintain stock levels! The right candidate will be a hard-working, ambitious and creative individual who wants to further their career by joining this fantastic company! The eCommerce Merchandiser will be working across a massive product range so they will be an organised individual who is capable of prioritising their workload in order to meet targets and deadlines.  They will also demonstrate strong team working skills and a genuine passion for fashion!

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Ecommerce Merchandiser:

  • Launching products onto the website ensuring product trackers are applied throughout the site.
  • Monitor stock and manage the stock holding, maintaining the sell through rate to decide wether products need transferring to slower selling stores.
  • Co-ordinating and ensuring that new product is online as quickly and efficiently as possible, using product trackers and intake calendars.
  • Analysing performance through daily, weekly and annual reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure best stock is marketed to its maximum potential.
  • Work with SEO, Affiliates and CRM teams to ensure that all product related activity from keywords, ranking and links are correct.
  • Develop and train a team of juniors.
  • Use Fredhopper algorithms and manual modification to merchandise the site.
  • Improving the journey for the customers by reviewing search words and drop offs.
  • Regularly review the dropdown navigation menu to keep it relevant to the stock and season.
  • Site walks throughout the day to raise any potential issues – broken links, incorrect product descriptions, placement and imagery.

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • A love of all things fashion!
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word as you will be required to produce weekly reports.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An independent worker who also enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills are fundamental to the job.
  • Possess an awareness of other areas of digital marketing such as SEO and PPC.
