This exciting luxury retailer are looking to recruit an Ecommerce Marketplaces Specialist in their York head office. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to work for a growing luxury retailer based in York and progress their own career ambitions. They have recently won a coveted Drapers award so are well regarded within the fashion industry!

They currently operate 7 international e-commerce websites with plans to grow their main markets even more in the near future. They’re looking for an experienced and versatile e-commerce marketing manager who is hungry to get stuck in.

Their ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. If you are a people-person who loves the rewarding challenge of building an aspirational brand, this is the role for you!

Role outline:

Our ideal candidate will be a smart, highly numerate individual who has commercial experience and is a born strategic thinker and problem solver. They will have experience working for a product focused e-commerce business and experience trading on Amazon. They will be a strategic and tactical thinker, able to take in information, analyse it and make strategic and tactical decisions that help to beat the competition and achieve both market share and profit goals. Digital marketing campaign experience also welcomed.

The Role:

  • Managing product listings via Tradebyte/Channeladvisor.
  • Implementing new channel launches via Tradebyte/Channeladvisor.
  • Maintaining Amazon Seller Central Account relationships: inventory management and pricing and account health.
  • Maintaining product data feeds for all platforms, including Google PPC.
  • Uploading and managing products across the Magento 2 platform.
  • Commercial Product Launches.
  • Ensuring customer complaints and feedback are dealt with in a timely manner by the customer service team.
  • Training the customer service team and updating the training when new processes/marketplaces/services are added.
  • Overseeing online sales across multiple marketplaces.
  • Commercial Analysis - analysing sales & profits data to make better decisions and develop trading and marketing strategies.
  • Manage promotion activity and budgets.

About you:

  • 1-2 years of experience dealing with Amazon Seller Central
  • Experience dealing with product content on Amazon
  • Background in eCommerce and online selling in general
  • Good experience dealing with data feeds and product catalogues
  • Good spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Experience with Magento would be a good benefit but is not essential
  • Experience with Tradebyte / Channeladvisor would be a good benefit, but is not essential
