This exciting luxury retailer are looking to recruit an E-Commerce Marketing Manager in their York head office. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to work for a growing luxury retailer based in York and progress their own career ambitions. They have recently won a coveted Drapers award so are well regarded within the fashion industry!

They currently operate 7 international e-commerce websites with plans to grow their main markets even more in the near future. They’re looking for an experienced and versatile e-commerce marketing manager who is hungry to get stuck in.

Their ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. If you are a people-person who loves the rewarding challenge of building an aspirational brand, this is the role for you!

Role outline:

  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Work with email, performance marketing and web teams/agencies to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using predetermined KPIs.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

About you:

  • 3 + years of related e-commerce experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with content marketing
  • Proficiency with social media strategy
  • Strong understanding of SEO
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • International experience (Working proficiency in German or French useful but not essential)
  • Experience with Magento 2 and Mailchimp
  • Established agency, press and/or media contacts
