Do you want to be an Ecommerce Manager for an online retailer?

Our client is an extremely successful ecommerce retailer who has experienced extraordinary growth since opening their doors and there’s no stopping them yet! As the Ecommerce manager, you will be responsible for the trading activity across the website, including ensuring that all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan.

The ideal candidate will be target driven and passionate about reaching business performance KPI’s and customer expectations. You will be expected to understand the websites performance by using analytics tools and working closely alongside the Insight team in order to make daily recommendations of amendments. This role also requires a strong commercial flair and excellent communication and organisation skills.

Main Responsibilities of the Ecommerce Manager:

• Have a strong understanding of trading performance such as traffic behaviour and conversion triggers and feed this into the key directional and trade meetings.
• Oversee the day to day running of the brand’s sites through the use of partner platforms
• Responsible for the management of promotional plan across desktop, tablet, mobile and app devices in order to gain maximum visitor attention and drive sales and conversion. 
• Using web analytics tools and working with the Insight Team, you will monitor performance of all the key elements of the website to understand the success of the promotional programme. Making recommendations for change and feeding this back to other managers, Head of Department and Directors as appropriate.
• SEO optimization including Errors/backlinks/technical aspects
• Planning and delivering CRM and CRO strategies across the company encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty
• Carrying out full site audits, ensuring all current stock is displayed online correctly.
• Produce regular competitor analysis reports across retail stores and online to understand the market thoroughly.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Substantial proven experience in a similar role.
• Min 2 years experience within a head office retail ecommerce role
• Strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of analytics tools.
• Highly organised.
• Passionate and target driven.
• Strong commercial flair.
