Our client is one of the fastest growing health and beauty retailers in the north, who are now heavily investing in the business in order to aid their future growth. They are now in need of new talent to help them with their journey!

The Key Responsibilities of the eCommerce Copywriter:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing and will be responsible for creating detailed descriptions of their clients' merchandise and editorial copies. The candidate will also be responsible for differentiating products and explaining the value of these products.  Knowing their customers’ needs are extremely important to our client, so it is vital that the candidate can tailor their description to their customers’ needs and what features are implemented for that specific customer. Working on new marketing ideas will also be part of the job to add value to their customers' shopping experience as well as building brand relationships. Great opportunities will also arise for the candidate as they will be able to create new ideas and will be brought to the table!

The Key Skills and Attributes Required:  

  • Meticulous in your attention to detail, you will offer a track record in a similar role within the e-commerce industry, enjoy creative writing and blogs, approach any challenge with a can-do attitude.
  • A portfolio of previous creative writing experience
  • Knowledge of SEO copy and social media
  • The ability to produce a variety of content including press releases, blog posts and articles
  • A track record of proactively spotting content opportunities to gain international coverage
  • The ability to research, plan, implement and report on a variety of campaigns
  • Keen interest in conversion and using analytics to measure the impact of product descriptions and retention emails
  • Knowledge of Magento is beneficial, but not essential
