The Candidate are recruiting for a Digital Project Manager to join an innovative digital agency who pride themselves on being at the heart of technological transformation. Having led major transformations for brands such as Boots, Cadbury & more, the agency has a proven reputation for training those who join to lead on major campaigns.

As the Digital Project Manager, you’ll work directly with the in house development, design & digital team as you lead on your own projects. Delivering digital solutions, your role will be highly varied from thrashing out client briefs to managing project progression through JIRA and reporting on successes & struggles. Communicating clearly and positively, you will receive a variety of training courses and have the opportunity to represent the agency at numerous industry related events; all with the idea of deepening your digital knowledge.  

With their head office based in just outside of Newcastle City Centre, the whole business operates on a flexible & hybrid working model in which they will work around what best suits you. As a minimum, you’ll be needed in the office for meetings at least once a week with a preference towards two or three days. That being said, if you prefer to work remotely but are happy to head into the office once a week, you’re not at a disadvantage!

Key Responsibilities of the Digital Project Manager:

  • Work closely with the development, design and digital team to manage a variety of creative projects from conception through to delivery & management
  • Build relationships both internally and externally as you thoroughly understand client briefs to ensure your team can execute against the requirements
  • Clearly & pragmatically communicate across teams to liaise and support with your team against the needs of the projects
  • Use project management tools such as JIRA & Trello to track the progress of projects and create accurate & actionable reports.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a digital environment managing website & digital projects / campaigns.
  • Comfortable taking control of projects and managing expectations of both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with a natural ability to form & develop relationships across the teams
  • Any experience using Google analytics to track & optimise website performance would be a benefit but in no way essential as training can be provided.
  • Naturally drive personality with a passion to stay up to date with the every changing tech environment in order to introduce new tech & methodologies to your projects
  • Thrive on working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
