Our client is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to make their brand a leading authority within the industry, and to help information more accessible to all. This new and exclusive role offers remote working and the chance to lead your own marketing team in end-to-end campaign delivery. An institute based on trust, expertise, and integrity, our client is keen to nurture and challenge the right candidate in this role.

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating innovative campaigns in order to highlight and impact the current debates focussing on important national issues. Aiming to enhance brand awareness and improve the company’s reputation, the ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing campaigns across all digital channels - specifically email marketing, social media, PPC and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end ownership of all digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (creation, execution, delivery and reporting)
  • Working with the Head of Digital to design and achieve the content marketing and SEO strategy – through content creation, website optimisation/CRO and marketing automation (core systems integration)
  • Brand Guardian – guaranteeing all campaigns are of the highest possible standard and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Leading a small team/line management of a direct report – overseeing workflow and utilising people management techniques to coordinate campaigns, improve capabilities and ensure team and individual targets are achieved (via regular 1-2-1 meetings)
  • Management of paid social media activity across all platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Bing, Facebook and LinkedIn)
  • Working with the programmes team to launch new products successfully, using keyword research, target audience insight, market research, etc.
  • Working with affiliates and external partners to increase brand exposure
  • Regular reporting of all key campaign metrics, such as ROI

Skills and Attributes:

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, working across the entire marketing mix
  • Experience leading a team in a dynamic and target -driven environment, and managing direct reports through regular catch ups
  • Understanding of key email marketing platforms and practices, such as efficient data management and optimising email campaign results
  • Flair for creativity, copywriting and insightful content creation using keyword research
  • Management of paid media - paid search experience with platforms such as Google Ads/Bing Ads, and paid social media campaigns to custom target audiences
  • Familiarity with data protection legislation (GDPR etc.)
  • Confident in overseeing website management and content creation through the CMS
  • An analytical thinker with an ability to organise and interpret data to inform strategy
  • Superb project management skills to deliver projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong communicator able to present information to a wide range of stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • A degree/professional qualification in marketing and/or membership to a relevant body would be beneficial
