This eCommerce business is a rapidly growing multi-million pound fast fashion sector retailer based in Manchester city centre. Every day is different in their offices and they are looking for someone who will inject the business with energy, passion, knowledge and determination to take them to the next level. This company is at a pinnacle stage of growth, reaching out into international markets, launching 2 new brands within the portfolio and so they are looking for a strong candidate to join them who has experience in both fashion / retail and has a full grasp of all digital channels. 

This exciting role forms part of the bigger digital function and will report directly in to the Head of Marketing.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead digital trading and manage all website developments and amendments on a daily basis hand in hand with their external web development agency. This role will require team and external agency management experience that will support to deliver the full marketing strategy focussing on devising and the subsequent delivery of the marketing calendar. This company is reaching out into international markets, launching 2 new brands within the portfolio and so they are looking for a strong candidate to join them who has experience in fashion / or beauty retail and has a full grasp of the full digital mix. As part of the growth of the company the Digital Marketing Manager will be integral in the long term strategy and their transition into the US Market, ideally this person will have experience in this marketplace. This is a pivotal role within the business and will suit someone who is ready for the next level or management but still enjoys getting involved in the day to day.  

Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:
Deal with all aspects of the digital side of the business including:
- Management of web agency and internal digital specialist team of 8
- Manage new website launch
- Monthly marketing calendar creation
- Reactive to daily sales target
- Generate and explore new revenue streams
- Manage budget and daily tasks for team
- Manage daily strategy set by head of marketing
- Take the lead of all trading activity
- Co-ordinating insights
- Campaign promotions
- Analysis into how eCommerce affecting conversion rates
- Track new customer acquisition every week 
- New vs returning customer week to week

Skills and Attributes

  • Must have a background in a fast paced eCommerce role and is truly excited to get to work each day and inject the business with energy
  • Strong background in the fashion and / or beauty industry and have a high digital grasp is essential in order to hit the ground running
  • Having an understanding of the target audience is essential
  • Experience working successfully with a similar size business in the region of £15- £20 million annual turnover within their career
  • Confident and analytical in reporting on performance and making recommendation for improvements
  • Decisive and able to make considered decisions
  • Driven and enthusiastic with an entrepreneurial mind who can be creative and has a long-term vision that will aid international expansion into the US and launching new brands
  • Must have a good interpersonal skills and can use these with integrity to influence and gain buy in with agencies, departments and key relationships
  • Focused and committed with achieving and exceeding targets
  • Have a supportive and encouraging nature and other important leadership skills, capable of setting and monitoring KPIs and developing the team
  • Can prioritise and work across multiple tasks and channels when required
  • Numerical and able to quantify facts and figures and able to use analytical tools such as Google Analytics to report and provide insight
  • Experience managing budgets and marketing campaigns across digital channels including PPC, Paid Social, CRM, SEO, Affiliates and a strong knowledge of the full marketing mix
