Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Analyst:

  • Responsible for tracking the performance of all digital marketing activity and working with marketing teams to ensure high performance
  • Report on performance data to senior management and various stakeholders which will help with important business decision-making
  • Remain up-to-date with data trends and bring ideas from relevant trends into the business
  • Use various performance tracking tools such as Hitwise to track content performance and competitors’ actions
  • Understand and report on overall digital activity and input ways to enhance customer journeys

Key Skills and Requirements of a Digital Marketing Analyst:

  • Must have experience in digital analytics, including PPC, SEO, and paid social
  • Very good numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong focus on improving customer relationships and experience
  • Able to handle various projects at once within in a strict timeframe
  • Analytical mind with strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Ads 360, PowerBI, Google Data Studio
  • Good experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
