Roles and Responsibilities of Data Manager

  • Supervise a team of data analysts working collectively on data reporting work programmes.
  • Take responsibility for the reporting via narrative reports.
  • Offer valuable insight and guidance to in-house and external stakeholders with regards to data availability, utility and interpretation.
  • Ascertain integrity through networking internally and externally with stakeholders and reporting with confidence on relevant data.
  • Designing and implementing intelligent practice on data delivery methods.

Skills and Experiences:

  • A conscious ability to deal with a vast array of individuals from interns through to chief executives.
  • A presentation of faultless customer service skills when handling any queries.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and organisation working efficiently towards tight deadlines.
  • A distinguished understanding of how-to time manage and maintain objectivity through prioritisation when under pressure.
  • An innate sense of strategy, establishing original and contemporary solutions to operating problems.
  • Prior knowledge of using analytical software is desirable.
  • System and report management capabilities are essential especially when handling large quantities of data from a variety of diverse sources.
  • Previous involvement in successful project planning and delivery.
