They are currently looking for a creative and analytically minded individual to be their next CRO Manager! The successful CRO Manager will stay in tune with what their customers are thinking and feeling, demonstrating a real passion for optimising the customer experience. The ideal candidate will also drive conversion across the website. This is a very varied role where no two days will be the same! The successful candidate will be managing creative projects, right through to carrying out customer research.

Main responsibilities and objectives of the CRO Manager:

  • Set up experiments using AB and Multivariate testing to improve the customer journey and increase the conversion rate and other key metrics
  • Complete ownership of specific website areas such as the basket and checkout
  • Learning, analysing and testing to produce the best customer experience possible
  • Work with in-house designers on creative concepts to project manage designs from briefing to creation to review
  • Have full autonomy and responsibility over the website, making changes based on customer data
  • Keep an eye on our competitors and monitoring their activity and responding where appropriate
  • Carrying out customer research by listening to customer calls, watching customer feedback sessions, creating online surveys and running focus groups
  • Understanding customer needs and key considerations for an online user experience
  • To contribute to the strategic planning of the marketing plan and strategies to drive forward agreed company objectives
  • Testing and refining campaigns and understanding customer behaviour

Key Skills and Attributes for the CRO Manager:

  • Experience with AB/MV testing tools and Google Analytics or similar analytics packages
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced CRO role
  • Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail
  • Commercial acumen with the understanding of the dynamics of an online retail business
  • Strong communication skills and high levels of motivation
