To support the huge period of international growth they’re having, they’re now looking to hire Customer Insight Analysts to join their well-established Analytics Department based in Manchester. The role of the Product Insight Analyst is to support in the delivery of the required reporting, analysis and insight needs of the wider business.

As a Customer Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer insight generation (identifying and collecting appropriate customer related data such as trading %, churn, AOF, purchasing patterns etc).
  • Join up insights from across different sources to provide the business with a holistic understanding of the market.
  • Working with external agencies and data providers, ensuring timely delivery of relevant and actionable insights.
  • Design and deliver periodic reporting highlighting trends and monitoring KPIs.
  • Be able to communicate analysis outputs to wider teams to help support delivery.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Work alongside Marketing, CRM, Merchandising and Digital teams to be able improve reporting and analysis.
  • Build systems/processes to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Market and customer insight generation (identifying and collecting appropriate customer, competitor, and market data such as pricing, market share, proposition changes etc).
  • Making insight connections from across different sources to provide the business with a holistic understanding of the market.
  • Working with external agencies and data providers, ensuring timely delivery of relevant and actionable insights.
  • Designing and delivering periodic reporting highlighting trends and monitoring KPIs.

About you:

  • Proven experience in an analytical/insight role.
  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem solving aptitude, attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
  • Strong system skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the proactive & timely production of weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Highly analytical, and ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • A flexible & resilient approach.
  • SQL Server (currently use 2012) experience.
  • Ecommerce / Online / Marketing – understanding of Google Analytics / Big Query / customer behaviour / customer metrics (e.g., active, frequency, retention etc).
  • Strong analytical skills combined with strong commercial acumen.
  • Nice to have but not essential: Power BI experience or similar (e.g., Tableau / QlikSense/ Cognos etc).
