Our client is looking for someone driven and innovative to join them as a Customer Insight Analyst and help guide the business towards greater success. An understanding of data and the ability to analyse data sets will be integral to this role. The successful candidate will need to enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced working environment and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Insight Analyst

  • Provide detailed customer insight to help lead the strategic growth across all territories.
  • Raise the CRM profile within the business.
  • Generate a comprehensive understanding of customers for all brands, territories and channels.
  • Convert large data sets into pragmatic recommendations for the business.
  • Create engaging reports which help to advise the business.
  • Effectively communicate and raise the value of customer insight data within the business planning processes.
  • Share data internally and with approved 3rd parties to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all customer data to create a three dimensional view of the customer.
  • Investigate data that is necessary to achieve the desired business outcome.
  • Advise business on the appropriate use of analysis and reports.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant analytical and statistical techniques.

Key Skills of the Customer Insight Analyst

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics or similar. Experience to a similar level is also acceptable.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Retail experience advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar, SPSS or equivalent, SQL script writing an advantage.
  • Ability to collate data and compile reports.
