CRM Manager (12 months FTC) – £40K – Financial Services – South Manchester

We’re working with a long-established client as they look for talented CRM Manager to work on some very exciting projects over the next 12 months. You’ll benefit from hybrid working with only 1 day a week in the office!

The primary purpose of the Interim Channel Marketing Manager is to deliver the Marketing strategy and tactical plans for key acquisition and retention channels to achieve volume and CPA targets and grow our customer databases. Key channels include email, SMS, refer- a-friend, on-site data capture and other targeted marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and deliver the annual strategy for each owned channel.
  • Deliver new business targets for owned channels.
  • Develop and manage the Marketing Communications calendar for all products and projects and make sure that all work is delivered to the required deadlines. 
  • Management of external suppliers and agencies
  • Manage the implementation of the automation journey programme.
  • Writing clear and precise creative briefs for Design and IT.
  • Writing compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of comms, including emails and campaigns. 
  • Ensure management and prioritisation of workflow across the team.
  • Understand profitability of all channels and activity delivered by your team.
  • Understand relationship between marketing spend, CPA and income.
  • Day to day management of direct reports who are responsible for the tactical delivery of the comms plan.
  • Ensure strong engagement with Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.
  • Be proactive and solutions focused.
  • Be the key contact for the Marketing elements of any retention documents projects.  
  • Keep up to date with Marketing developments.

Requirements

  • Able to manage and deliver a wide range of projects.  
  • Able to co-ordinate and motivate a team to deliver a high standard of work. 
  • Experience in digital marketing, particularly email marketing. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Able to manage competing deadlines and work with other departments.
  • Ability to manage the demands of different stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing and building strong relationships with external suppliers and agencies.
  • Experience of developing and launching new products
  • Experience of working in an e-commerce role in financial services 
  • Experience of working with various software tools e.g. Google Analytics, Email Service Provider (Adestra), Mention Me etc.
  • Experience of email automation programmes.   
  • Experience of working with various software tools e.g. Float, Unbounce etc.
