Our client are the market leader in the Tax department when it comes to Financial services. They have a huge presence in the Construction and MOD industry which 2 of the largest markets within this space. With traditional focus on increasing turnover through increasing headcount and capacity in the business, they are now turning to a digital first strategy which focuses on improving the customer journey to become more of a self-serve experience for the their customers. As a result they are investing heavily in their tech teams to rebuild their offering and also investing in the CRM to develop the customer journey and comms strategies throughout. They have plans to target new markets too and also to diversify their product offerings to their current customer bases.

About the role…

As the CRM Manager at this great business you are their customer champion, applying data analysis to positively influence consumer behaviour, improve conversion and ultimately lifetime value. You are responsible for campaign led marketing activity via the management, growth and optimisation of their customer and prospect customer databases, devising strategies to bring campaigns to life, supporting the current product mix and the introduction of new products.

With proven experience of operating strategically, you will be confident at executing your plans whilst interacting with various departments and levels across the business. Alongside developing CRM strategies across the company, you’ll also be key to developing insight into customer profiles and use this to provide opportunities with future campaigns and product development.

About you…

  • A depth of CRM marketing or email marketing experience, ideally gained within a B2C market;
  • Experience with multiple communication channels in customer interactions;
  • University Bachelors Degree preferred, but not essential;
  • Knowledge and experience with email best practices including list hygiene, ISP optimisation, template design, A/B testing, delivery and deliverability issues;
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with project management and planning skills
  • A passion for great user journeys and data-driven marketing, putting the user at the heart of everything you do;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Possess exceptional organisational skills;
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously;
  • Have strong accuracy and attention to detail; and embody the business values: Reliable, Integrity, Friendly and Tenacious
