Conversion and Analytics Manager - £45,000 – Huddersfield – Ecommerce

Are you able to take data and draw out insights to improve marketing efficacy, website performance and user experience? Then take a look at this exciting opportunity with a leading ecommerce retailer with a half-a-billion-pound turnover!

This is a brand new role for the business which is viewed as critical by senior management, so there’s a huge career opportunity to make your mark in a high profile role. They are looking for a highly analytical candidate who will bring critical thinking underpinned by a strong commercial acumen to create insight to shape and mould digital channels. As the Conversion and Analytics Manager, you will have a strong understanding of digital marketing disciplines and a high degree of confidence in measuring & providing actionable insight for these through tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Hotjar.

Does Conversion and Analytics Manager sound like the right role for you?

You will be:

  • Working with the commercial and marketing teams to help deliver as close to the perfect digital experience for our customers 
  • Driving a data-led approach to CRO through ideation and testing strategies gained from actionable insights
  • Briefing, planning & analysing the results of A/B & multivariant tests 
  • Be the check & balance on our marketing activity, delivering insight that surface new ways to drive sales & become more efficient in our advertising activities
  • You will be the primary owner of all digital analysis tools, demonstrating a full understanding of KPIs and metrics
  • Someone to understand the goals of business areas & surface relevant insights for the marketing & commercial teams to act upon

About you:

  • You must be able to analyse digital data and provide examples of how you have used this to provide actionable insights to increase marketing effectiveness
  • Ability to take ownership of the CRO strategy
  • Self-starter comfortable working with people from marketing, commercial & design departments
  • Extensive experience of Googles marketing stack is a must
  • A background in either data analysis or digital marketing is preferred, but knowledge of both is a desired
