Our client is an award-winning B2B marketing agency based in the heart of Manchester City Centre around the bustling bars and convenient transport links for all surrounding areas! They offer a wide range of top-quality services for their clients including strategy, design, digital, PR and social with offices in the UK and overseas they work across a variety of channels across a national and international scale. 

This role is ideal for a Content Manager with B2B and Agency experience looking to take on a role that will provide great progression opportunities. Also, on top of brilliant training our client also offers flexible working (two days working from home) as well as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and ongoing training and development programmes to get you to where you want to be.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the content strategy and approach for all clients
  • Manage an Account Exec on the Content team
  • Strategic input on all non-digital projects – using the benefit of experience to suggest and drive through project improvements
  • Management of all print collateral projects on behalf of clients
  • Management of specialist external technical copywriters for more bespoke pieces plus limited amounts of copywriting (mainly for web and brochures but also some press releases) for clients
  • Proof reading copy for Move client work
  • Management and coordination of the media space buying, booking and ad scheduling process on behalf of clients
  • Bespoke research projects on behalf of clients – these will include competitor analysis, industry events, trade publication analysis, industry trends etc
  • Contribute with PR data and general input for quarterly client media monitoring report production (ultimate production of these reports lies with the Digital Strategy team)
  • Strengthening Move’s PR approach both directly and then indirectly with the help of external sub-contractors
  • Join on national and international pitch development and presentation teams with MD and other team members

Ideal Candidate:

  • Marketing, Journalism or English degree
  • At least 4 – 5 years’ postgraduate experience in an agency environment
  • Would suit a self-starter/pro-active personality able to work on own initiative as there will be a degree of autonomy with the role
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • The ability to work on own initiative and to work well under pressure
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and pro-active approach to solving problems
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
