Our client have been performance marketing specialists for their catalogue of retail clients for over 20 years, providing amazing services across Paid Search, SEO & Content, Display & Paid Social, Affiliates and Customer Experience. They are now looking for a Content Manager to come in a create and lead their client’s content marketing activity and developing and executing their strategy in line with their client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to internal marketing and supporting with shaping the strategy for SEO
  • Implementing content marketing activities to meet their client’s performance goals
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and SEO content best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to their clients and leading the implementation of these
  • An understanding and appreciation of SEO tech and being able to support where necessary
  • Responsible for performance analysis
  • Analysing issues/opportunities, whilst providing and implementing recommendations
  • Assisting the Senior Client Manager in developing relationships & maintaining strong communication with clients
  • Leading regular client calls to discuss performance and actions

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years’ experience managing content marketing activity in either a client or agency environment
  • Confidence in using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, ahrefs, Site Bulb, Linkdex
  • Building relationships and networking internally and externally
  • Producing, editing, and publishing content on our client’s websites. This includes ecommerce content, blog articles/editorial content or campaigns
  • A track record of analysing performance issues and opportunities, including implementation of recommendations
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Tracking and reporting experience with analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics or Adobe
  • Auditing their clients’ and/or competitors’ websites to determine areas of focus for optimisation or content creation
  • Contacting and managing relationships with online influencers and national press (when required), to outreach a campaign
