Do you have a talent for the creative? Then our client is looking for you to join them as a content lead at a very successful agency based in Manchester.

Our client is looking for a talented Content Lead to join their successful team of  marketing specialists and help them to lead the way in organic and paid search. After a successful 2017 they are expanding their team of marketing professionals. They can offer you the chance to work with some great clients in a fun and exciting working environment.

The Content Lead will be responsible for developing the content campaigns across the team and ensuring the clients receive the best content for their briefs. You must have experience in content creation and confident in your ability to capture the attention of customers. You will be able to see campaigns from conception to launch.

Responsibilities of the Content Lead:

  • Overseeing content strategies for a range of clients both personally and by liaising with other members of the content team.
  • Evaluating content on new client accounts and choosing the most relevant content for the client.
  • Developing strong working relationships with the account managers to produce meaningful client reports.
  • Stay up to date on latest industry trends and share this knowledge.
  • Assist with growing the content team including training new members.
  • Lead content creation for the company themselves to increase their public profile. Includes writing blog posts, posting on social media channels and attending industry events.

 Required skills for the Content Lead:

  • Minimum of 3 years in an SEO focused content role with ability to demonstrate your involvement in multi-faceted projects.
  • A confident working knowledge of current organic search best practices.
  • Knowledge of Searchmetrics, SEMRush, AHREFs and Moz.
  • Previous experience of content production for other marketing channels such as PPC and social media is desirable.
  • Experience with creative briefs for producing infographics.
  • Experience of creating long-form content is necessary.
  • Experience with non-text content such as videos or digital images would be desirable but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • A creative mind and the ability to make your ideas into a reality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
