Consumer Research Manager - Manchester - £35,000 + £5,000 bonus - Food and Drink

Our client works with some of the UK’s biggest brands to help them understand the drivers of their performance and revenue. They establish integrated consumer insight and market measurement to inform clients across the globe with strategies for growth. With offices in the UK and USA, you will be joining an ambitious business at an exciting point in their growth journey.

They are now looking to recruit a talented Consumer Research Manager join their growing global business. This role would suit someone passionate about not only understanding consumer behaviour, but those enthusiastic about food and drink.

They are looking for an accomplished researcher who wants to make a difference, have fun and build a fantastic career with their team.  The successful candidate will have outstanding research skills, a strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques, along with an innovative and astute commercial mind and comfortable with creating and leading commercial opportunities with clients.  

You will work on a range of projects, working with more senior managers to deliver and lead projects for a range of clients, while working closely with a team of more junior research executives.

The Role:

  • Supporting in the design of primarily quantitative along with qualitative research studies that market insights and actionable solutions for clients across the US, Canada and emerging South America markets.
  • Both leading and supporting consumer research projects from cradle to grave.
  • Supporting on the development of new, commercially focused research studies.
  • Participating in study scope and design, analysis and final insight delivery for custom client research studies.
  • Working collaboratively and communicating with clarity across the research team and the client facing teams, to ensure high quality projects and insights are delivering true value across our portfolio of clients.
  • Managing and mentoring across the Consumer Research team with support from the Senior Consumer Research Manager.
  • This role is designed for experienced Senior Research Executives or Consumer Research Managers looking to develop further in a leading research and consultancy business.

About you:

  • A researcher with research agency experience in a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Nice to have: Experience working with methodologies such as conjoint analysis and segmentation.
  • Experience in working in and managing multiple stages of research projects / studies from cradle to grave i.e. design to delivery of actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator looking to collaborate with internal teams.
  • High energy, positive, self-reliant and able to motivate those around you.
  • Talent for finding the ‘story’ behind the data and able to see the value this adds to our clients.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment of competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A great team player and desire to be a leader within the team.
  • Organised, ambitious, hardworking and up for a challenge.
  • Passionate about eating and drinking out.
