The Commercial Analytics Manager will lead a team of high performing analyst – whilst also maintaining a project portfolio of analysis projects. This is predominantly an external brand-facing role, with full ownership of the group’s commercial data proposition. The commercial data function serves to drive income through data – this role will manage these ongoing data relationships with investors. The role involves producing reporting and insights for our investing brand partners, and serving as the main point of contact for any data queries from brands.

You should be someone who isn’t just churning out numbers, you can take the numbers and create a story with them.

In this role you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to other analysts within the team, providing both technical and commercial insight support.
  • Development and ownership of fully automated data products that support business need and deliver incremental benefit to the business, and to the business’ of our brand partners
  • Ability to think creatively to identify and deliver new, innovative analytical projects from existing and new data sources
  • Ability to design and recommend different types of testing used to measure new and existing business processes
  • Instill and test and learn culture into existing business processes on order to improve overall business performance
  • Run and analyses the output of tests
  • Developing and owning the relationship with all brand partners that invest in data packages. Producing monthly reporting for brand partners, and presenting key insights from these reports to internal and external teams in monthly data calls to buying, marketing and brand teams
  • Must be confident in an external brand facing role and able to communicate core insights and recommendations off the back of reports
  • Securing incremental income through data agreements with brands by developing new data products and services
  • Becoming the main point of contact for all ad-hoc data queries from brand investors
  • Presenting key insights and recommendations in brand strategy meetings

  • SQL – advanced proficiency
  • Excel – advanced proficiency
  • Tableau
  • Python – advanced proficiency
  • Commercial Acumen - strong
  • Confident communicator – comfortable presenting insights to external stakeholders
