It is a key requirement that the candidate has an outstanding knowledge and expertise of organic and paid digital marketing to be considered for this role. 

Our client is a multi-award winning agency who have created cutting-edge campaigns for leading brands, which have reached a global audience. This agency has an amazing reputation around the world, and have quickly become one of the world’s leading media agencies. Their trendy and modern Manchester office is perfectly located, surrounded by Manchester’s top bars and restaurants!  

This role is at Board level and the successful candidate will have a strong impact on the agency’s digital offerings and overall developments. This role is a new role for the agency, so the candidate will have autonomy to develop and implement expert knowledge to new strategies in the business. It is therefore essential that you have in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the whole marketing spectrum, and can confidently use your knowledge to lead digital campaigns for global clients! The agency are now on the hunt for a digital expert to join their team as their first ever Head of Digital!

Main responsibilities of the Client Partner: 

  • Lead digital offerings from a strategic point of view.
  • Liaise with CEOs and other top-level digital providers.
  • Conduct market-level analysis to be up to date on the market and competitor developments
  • Run the agency’s digital product development.
  • Keep up to date with digital trends and plan campaigns accordingly.
  • Be a strong front figure within digital for the company brand by digital product development, speaking at conferences/events or having a presence in the media.

Required skills and attributes of the Client Partner:

  • It is essential that you have in-depth experience and expertise within everything to do with Digital Marketing.
  • Previous experience in a high-level digital role preferably in an agency
  • Amazing communication skills – can inform and lead employees of all levels, and communicate with clients in an effective and professional manner.
  • Highly confident and have excellent presentation skills.
  • Good problem solver
  • Have an innovative approach to marketing – able to identify new digital opportunities.
  • Demonstrable experience of running a team/department.
