With an HQ based in Manchester, the Chief Marketing Officer will have proven experience in both Digital Marketing and eCommerce – able to create and deliver the marketing strategy across both online and in store environments.

Role and Responsibilities of the Chief Marketing Officer:

  • Managing and developing the marketing department
  • Implementing the full-scale digital marketing strategy including social media, email, CRO, PPC, SEO and content for both digital and physical assets
  • Evaluate the current marketing strategy and plans in order to address strengths and weaknesses
  • Plan, direct and manage the marketing mix analysing competitors and the market to find the possible marketing solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales department to come up with pricing strategies in order to balance maximum profits with customer satisfaction
  • Manage and set all budgets for the marketing department
  • Building brand awareness and positioning the brand in the market on a global scale
  • Supporting lead generation efforts – opening doors to exciting opportunities
  • Developing your team – providing direction and motivation
  • Ensuring all industry regulations are adhered too

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience running a successful marketing department
  • Entrepreneurial drive – passionate and excited to make an impact
  • Flair for branding – creative and innovative approach
  • Highly interpersonal with excellent communication skills
  • Capable of presenting ideas and insights to senior members of staff
  • Strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working to regulations and ensuring they are met
  • Always keeping up with the latest trends and technology – digitally savvy
