Focussing on developing relationships with existing clients, and working on new business acquisitions, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who thrives on providing excellent service to all stakeholders. Maximising conversion rates is a key part of this role, as is managing the customer and client database effectively.

Role and Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Forge excellent relationships with key stakeholders of the business, and then maintaining and developing these over time
  • Turning working relationships into profitable new business
  • Manage the business pipeline
  • Create bespoke offerings for specific clients
  • Accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and analysis of targets
  • Ensuring the customers needs are met by working alongside the sales team to curate the offerings and messages being produced
  • Attend meetings and events on behalf of the business

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years in a business development role
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive – motivated and determined
  • Experienced in CRM and MS Office
  • Experience in a relevant sector (media, marketing digital) is desirable!
