As the business continues to grow at a rapid rate, they are now on the hunt for a talented, hard-working Business Development Manager who will take the business to the next level.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and acting as a catalyst to grow the Business Development team, you will require an impressive and engaging sales style, which will be used to find new opportunities in the market. The ideal candidate will need significant experience under their belt and be expected to work confidently on multi-million-pound deals.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads which could develop into potential new clients and markets.
  • Discover decision makers in businesses in order to establish who makes purchasing decisions.
  • Connecting with potential clients in order to establish rapport, scope out challenges and needs of their business, and set up meetings.
  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Negotiating contracts with clients and work with senior members of the business to establish solid sales strategies for target markets.
  • Identify potential developments in product and service offering, which can be capitalised on in order to stay competitive in current market conditions.

  • An experienced and highly driven sales person who can deliver on objectives and work to deadlines.
  • A strong network of contacts across medium to large UK businesses would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills who can communicate and negotiate effectively in different environments.
  • Experienced in closing and delivering million-pound contracts.
  • Refined, credible, impressive sales style
  • Competent with numbers and technology.
  • A problem solver with a creative nature
