Roles and Responsibilities of Business Development Manager;

  • Network effectively internally and externally with intention to create accompanying leads in new clients.
  • Scheduling sales appointments with all clients being a company advocate in every customer facing experience.
  • Maintaining client favour certifying repeat business.
  • Meeting and exceeding agreed key performance indicators.
  • Remain an integral part of the team and actively seek out improvements within the business.
  • Manage the upkeep of CRM systems with the correct customer details.
  • Produce leads using the Barbour ABI system and negotiate the best possible rates from clients.
  • Travelling may be a key feature of the role across the North West meeting clients face to face.

The Required Skills and Experiences of Business Development Manager;

  • A consistently polished and professional approach to working life with the ability to carry out office tasks such as answering phone as a second nature.
  • A clear and conscious understanding of the business and the mission statement.
  • Notable communication skills to be used efficiently when dealing with both in-house and out-of-house issues.
  • A competency for using computer systems when recording CRM related solutions.
  • An innate self-confidence, willingness to succeed and desire to push boundaries with the company’s best interests at heart.
