Assistant Marketing & Promotions Manager - Greater Manchester (Hybrid, 2 days in the office) - £40,000

An exciting new Assistant Marketing & Promotions Manager role has become available in Greater Manchester. This business is looking for an individual that is driven and motivated, which is perfect for anyone who likes working in a fast-paced environment! The ideal candidate would have a passion and love for the sporting or eGaming industry and would work well within a team as well as having management and communication attributes.

Work alongside the CRM, communications and product teams to make customers aware of all promotions, aiming to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and cross-sell across the business. If you have great management skills to lead a successful team, which includes developing a reflexive promotional toolkit and calendar, then this could be the role for you!

Awareness of the sports and e-gaming market is paramount in order to continuously improve the companies offering to their customers. Our client want someone with passion for the industry!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Outline and execute the promotions strategy along with the Digital Marketing and Customer Marketing teams
  • Create a promotional toolkit for all products across the business
  • Implement a test-and-learn approach to all concepts, striving to be innovative
  • Employ a customer-centric mindset at all times when planning and delivering promotions
  • Ownership of all promotional activity, including reporting and analysis
  • Highlight trends and opportunities to take advantage of
  • Monitor KPI performance and the achievement of business objectives
  • Deliver a cross-selling strategy based on consumer behaviour around key events / high traffic
  • Maintain an up-to-date promotions calendar
  • Work with the CRM team to optimise customer journeys
  • Refine customer targeting strategies to improve promotional performance
  • Understand compliance regulations around all promotions
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Digital Marketing, Email Marketing or CRM experience
  • Degree (or equivalent qualification) in business or marketing subject
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix, including CRM
  • Great organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Adept at Excel and analytic programs
  • Commercially astute
  • Works well with tight deadlines
  • Motivated and able to work well in a team
