Analytics Manager – £35,000 – Marketing Agency – Manchester

The role:

The Web Analytics Manager is responsible for the overall delivery of Web Analytics solutions for clients. The Manager will take the lead in building a solid client relationship, to understand their objectives and what they want to get from the data before devising and delivering a plan to meet these needs. You will be assisted by a team of Analysts, but it will be up to the Manager to manage workloads to ensure the projects are completed on time to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with and understanding client requirements.
  • Lead communication of progress & presentation of delivered work to clients.
  • Proactively leading the review and refinement of the processes & frameworks we use in the team.
  • Driving adoption of new and emerging tools, features & techniques to continually enhance the value of available data for the client.
  • Work closely with other teams to advise on Web Analytics data use & strategy.
  • Work with the Account Director to identify opportunities to enhance the support for the client.
  • Mentor team members to expand their skillset and review their work to ensure quality.

Skills and Experience:

  • Expert user of Google Analytics
  • Technical implantation of GA using Google Tag Manager
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to prioritise and manager multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and wider agency team leaders.
  • Line Management experience is beneficial.
  • Able to work well under pressure and to strict time deadlines.
  • Desirable - Adobe Analytics (and DTM) experience, Analytics Management API, Google Big Query, Google Cloud Platform.
