Analytics and Insight Manager – Travel - Manchester City Centre - £70,000

Our client has made big waves in their industry since opening their doors! They are passionate about their industry and put their employees at the heart of their brand, offering a vibrant and friendly working environment in their Manchester HQ. They are now looking for a competent and diligent Analytics Manager to collaborate with their Designers, Developers and Product Owners to produce valuable insights, using analytics tools and data-mining techniques.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Analytics and Insight Manager:

  • Manage a team of analysts to build and maintain analytical models and dashboards
  • Produce articulate actionable findings
  • Manage and mentor the team to success
  • Become the business expert of business intelligence tools and analytic solutions to achieve short and long-term business objectives
  • Pinpoint where improvements are required to develop and grow the business through analytical insight
  • Perform research constantly staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and finding areas which the business can innovate
  • Evaluate and optimise website performance
  • Drive CRO offering through A/B or multivariant testing

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Profound data-mining and analytical skills
  • Proficient with statistical methods and data analysis software
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Solid understanding of SQL
  • Adequate grasp of Google Analytics
  • Able to lead and develop a team
  • Skilled in understanding and linking customer behaviours to commercial impact
  • Experience working in an ecommerce and/or multi-channel organisation is highly advantageous
  • Cross-channel analytical skills across mobile, desktop, tablet and app are highly favourable
  • Google Tag Manager, Power BI, and Tableau experience is desirable
