Our client is a successful media agency that uses technology to provide its clients with dynamic and intelligent media spending decisions. Always striving to improve and adapt, they are looking for a talented Agency Director to drive the business forward to new heights.

This role focusses on increasing revenue and expanding the agency, whilst delivering on strategies that encompass the companies passion for Media and Analytics. They are looking for an enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys finding effective and innovative solutions that will benefit their clients and help achieve their business goals.

Working closely with the Commercial Director at the Manchester office, the successful candidate will be confident in creating strategies that delight existing clients, attract new business, and drive growth in all areas of the business. A holistic and connected approach is needed to deliver across multiple stakeholder groups and sectors of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Ownership - achieve sales targets and deliver financial statistics to the Commercial Director regarding key accounts
  • Strategic Planning - responsibility for the agency and client level strategy for your group that sets out project scope, adheres to deadlines, and hits company targets
  • Leadership – manage and train direct reports to ensure they are embodying the company culture whilst achieving targets
  • Collaboration – work with multiple departments within the organisation in order to set out and deliver a winning strategy
  • Communication – develop strong relationships with key agencies and clients
  • Understanding – be a product champion for the agency, being the first port of call for any questions or issues
  • Creativity – develop best-in-class product narratives, presentations, and solutions in an innovative and articulate manner

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a senior role at an agency or media company
  • Close relationships with Agency Groups
  • Experience in digital, data or analytics sector sales
  • Solid track record of delivering revenue targets
  • Experience in leading and developing a team
  • Confident in attracting new business
  • Strong communicator and presenter
  • Analytical mindset
  • Passion to grow with the business
