They are currently looking for an individual with strong commercial acumen and an ability to build great relationships to be their next Affiliate Manager. Recruiting new affiliates and nurturing current affiliates, the Affiliate Manager will need an expert understanding of the company’s customer base. Strong analytical skills are a must, as the successful candidate will be working to ensure that any data sent is optimised and that any opportunities for growth are always spotted.

Main responsibilities and objectives of the Affiliate Manager:

  • Day to day responsibility for running the affiliate program
  • Create and implement our affiliate strategy for the website brands
  • Building a strong relationship with key affiliates
  • Developing and growing affiliates network
  • Working with the commercial team to create a tiered commission structure based on the categories and brands
  • Plan, develop, launch and feedback on campaigns with top affiliates
  • Work with cashback affiliates to develop a strategy to drive incremental sales
  • Work closely with price comparison affiliates to ensure that feed and the data sent is optimised
  • Analyse competitors programs and affiliates to spot opportunities to grow
  • Grow the number and percentage of affiliates generating sales
  • Grow the volume of sales from affiliates network
  • Increase affiliate activity therefore generating traffic and sales

 

Key Skills and Attributes for the Affiliate Manager:

  • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changeable ecommerce business
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the dynamics of a commercial on-line retailer
    A team player with excellent communication skills able to build effective relationships both internally and externally is critical
  • You must be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure at times
  • Focused on the deliverables and keen to get involved in projects to further develop your own skill set
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to draw relevant business information
