This eCommerce business has built up an impeccable reputation worldwide and has even managed to become a leading pioneer in the industry! Based in a relaxed environment based in spacious modern offices in thriving Manchester, the team has fast evolved and now they are looking for a talented Acquisition Manager to join the team. The team is accountable for the largest ad spend compared to any of their competitors so there’s a large budget to play with!

Working in the marketing department, the Acquisition Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing the customer acquisition strategy as well as all paid search, SEO and advertising activities. A key element of the role includes working with other teams to ensure consistent results. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking, measuring and evaluating all data to optimise campaign performance.

The Main Responsibilities of the Acquisition Manager:

  • Devise, executive and manage the paid and earn acquisition strategy for both new and existing products.
  • Work closely with the Data and Insight team to identify new market and customer opportunities whilst also liaising with the Marketing team to deliver marketing campaigns.
  • Utilise all resources to gain a strong understanding of all customer needs, purchase behaviours and motivations.
  • Constantly aim to optimise the performance of all acquisition channels by shaping roadmaps and implementing any changes.
  • Track, measure and evaluate channel and campaign performance through effective tools and techniques.
  • Work with the social team to create an upper funnel strategy.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous acquisition experience in an ecommerce environment
  • Experience working in or for a multi-channel business
  • Excellent understanding of Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and Google Tag Manager
  • Proven track record of working in paid search combined with the ability to deliver accurate results
  • Data-driven with a strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A natural born leader with effective leadership skills
