Situated in South Manchester, our client’s office is easily accessible from Manchester City Centre and other surrounding areas. They are an international B2B marketing agency who work with a variety of recognisable household names and have built themselves an impeccable reputation over the past two decades. Now, they are looking to hire a new, ambitious Account Manager to join their fast-growing team of marketing experts.

As an Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of clients from a variety of sectors. The Account Manager will be accountable for offering all clients a top-quality service in order to maximise their marketing strategies. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel to various client sites. An individual with at least 3 years’ account management experience combined with the ability to forge long withstanding relationships will thrive within this role.

The Main Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Plan and implement daily activities on all client accounts whilst also maintaining constant communication with clients and keeping them updated on campaign progress.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key clients and third parties, ensuring a full understanding of all client objectives.
  • When required, travel to client sites.
  • Constantly seek to improve all client accounts whilst ensuring that the budget is adhered to.
  • Manage and motivate a team of Account Executives to guarantee that all work produced is of the highest standard.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an account management role
  • Strong knowledge of different marketing tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication, organisational, budget management and editing skills are essential
  • Fantastic research, evaluation and reporting skills
  • A second language would be beneficial however this isn’t essential
  • A strategic thinker with a creative flair and a strong commercial acumen
