Situated in the heart of Manchester, our client is a fast-paced, dynamic marketing agency who have built themselves a flawless reputation within the industry. As the business continues to grow and gain new high- profile clients, they are now looking to hire an Account Manager to help oversee their exciting accounts.

The Account Manager will work closely with a variety of individuals from across the company, including the Account Directors. The successful individual will be responsible for a range of duties, from client communication to coming up with creative ideas and generating reports, meaning that no two days will be the same! The nature of this role requires confident communicators and team players.

The Main Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Liaise with the Account Director on key objectives
  • Ensure regular client/agency reviews take place
  • Oversee the briefing and management of the Account Management team
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and their key objectives
  • Make sure that client needs are met effectively and efficiently
  • Develop strong client relationships
  • Produce engaging and creative proposals with the rest of the Account Management team and deliver to the client
  • Take control of any direct reports
  • Continue to gain a strong knowledge of current market trends and practices

The Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ account management experience
  • Below the line or promotional marketing experience is essential
  • Previous experience developing new business and managing a team
  • A strategic yet creative thinker with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns for high profile clients
  • Excellent organisational, communication and budget management skills
