Are you a sports fanatic that desires an out of the ordinary job? We have an excellent role as a Sports Marketing Manager based in Cheshire that includes regular international travel, giving you a chance to develop your network and enjoy other cultures.

Our client is a technology and information company based in Asia with a multimillion pound turnover, over 150 million subscribers, and growing! They have partnership agreements with leading European football clubs and will be providing football-related promotions and unique sports content for publication on microsites and their Mobile App as well as engaging in various projects in Asia, in conjunction with the clubs.

This role enhances your creative capabilities, developing engaging content for an audience in China through websites and mobile applications. To be successful in this position you have to be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with partners. You'll be kept on your toes in this deadline-oriented industry so organisational and professional skills are essential!

This position offers an opportunity to liaise with our clients various world renowned football partners to pull together exciting written and video content. The Marketing Manager will have a proven track record in providing strong account management and will be very experienced in managing partnership relationships. A highly organised, creative professional, you will be experienced in conceiving, planning, designing, delivering and reporting on multi-platform promotions, content and activities to deliver against defined and agreed objectives.

Key responsibilities of the Sports Marketing Manager:

You will also be required to liaise with our teams in China, to oversee the publishing of web pages and microsites with unique sports-related content. The role requires a dynamic and outstanding communicator who is able to forge strong relationships with partners and with senior company executives. Line-management experience and mentoring experience of junior staff is also required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • The ability to solve problems effectively in a rapidly changing environment
  • Previous line manager experience and junior staff mentoring experience
  • Outstanding IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office and presenting Powerpoint presentations.
  • Experience in using CMS systems
  • Knowledge and experience of digital marketing
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience of producing digital content on multiple platforms
