Our client is an advertising and marketing agency that offers a fantastic range of services. They have worked with some huge clients and produced nationally recognised campaigns.

The role of Senior Account Manager is situated in Manchester City Centre at the company’s modern offices. The role of Senior Account Manager will incorporate many exciting and engaging aspects. The overall objective is to assist the Account Director in the development of the team and the growth of existing team accounts. Further to this is the maintenance of strong relationships with clients and to ensure that profitability targets are delivered. To be successful in this role it’s important that you are genuinely passionate about Digital activities and ready to get stuck in from day one!

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Liaise with the Account Director on key objectives
  • Ensure regular client/agency reviews take place
  • Oversee the briefing and management of the Account Management team
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and their key objectives
  • Make sure that client needs are met effectively and efficiently
  • Develop strong client relationships
  • Produce engaging and creative proposals with the rest of the Account Management team and deliver to the client
  • Take control of any direct reports
  • Continue to gain a strong knowledge of current market trends and practices

Skills and Attributes of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Demonstrable experience in an integrated agency
  • Experience at managing a small team
  • A commercial mind-set
  • Passionate and pro-active attitude
  • A good knowledge of digital strategy
  • Skilled in presentations and pitches to clients
  • A strong knowledge in a range of media formats
