The role of Senior Account Executive is situated in the company’s offices in South Manchester. There are fantastic and easily accessible transport links including a tram into the city centre. The main aspect of the role is to support the account team by producing and displaying quality standards in account handling essentials. To fulfil the high standards that this business strives to deliver this person will need a minimum of one years’ experience in an Executive role. Other important duties of the role include writing reports, researching UK and foreign media and establishing long-lasting and positive relationships with clients. These areas require someone who can be flexible, suggest solutions to problems and has demonstrable experience in client services.

Main responsibilities for the Senior Account Executive:

  • Produce agendas, contact reports and press releases
  • Develop excellent understanding of UK and foreign media
  • Monitor media activity by reading relevant publication and staying up to date on the latest trends within the industry
  • Establish professional relationships with clients
  • Support the organisation of exhibitions and other events
  • Develop excellent telephone manner, be polite and convey clear messages
  • Commercial skills and awareness
  • Use academic writing and language on a regular basis
  • Travel to attend client meetings

Essential requirements of the successful candidate:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in an Account Executive role
  • An excellent understanding of public relations
  • Time management skills
  • Flexibility skills
  • Demonstrable experience in building relationships internally and externally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Support and respect the company culture
  • Be proactive and look for solutions to problems
