With offices across the UK, our client has made their presence known within the world of digital! The Sales Account Manager will primarily be based in the company’s North Leeds office, however, they may be expected to travel occasionally. Having been helping their national and global clients with their marketing campaigns for over ten years now, the agency is continuing to go from strength to strength which is why they are now searching for an ambitious Sales Account Manager to contribute to their future success!

The Sales Account Manager will have to proactively retain and develop the client relationships and the income of the agency.  The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide portfolio of clients and they will be expected to manage the portfolio efficiently, therefore, excellent communication and time management skills are essential for this exciting role.

The Main Responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients to a retention rate of 60% whilst also identifying additional revenue streams and overlooking client contract renewals
  • Building and maintain strong client relationships by communicating with clients over the phone, via email and through face to face meetings
  • Work closely with other teams when managing account handovers to ensure everyone’s briefed on all aspects of each campaign
  • Regularly liaise with clients throughout all of the campaign development and implementation stages
  • Monitor and analyse performance data before generating detailed reports which present recommendations for future campaigns
  • Maintain the CRM system by ensuring that all relevant details are logged on the system and actively seek new business opportunities which introduce additional products and services
  • Participle in the weekly risk assessment meetings and offer your assistance to the finance team and work closely with the Clients Management team to understand their particular business strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience of working in a similar role or either within SEO and PPC is ideal
  • Experience of working within an agency environment would also be beneficial to the role
  • A professional yet personable attitude
  • Excellent organisational, communication and budget management skills are essential for the role
  • Comfortable forming strong work relationships with clients and other employees
  • A creative individual with an ‘eye for detail’
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is also vital for the job!
