Main responsibilities of Paid Social Media  Manager

  • Support the Head of Marketing in the creation, production and distribution of all customer acquisition and retention marketing activity across all paid social media channels
  • Implement the paid social media strategy to reach and convert new customers.
  • Optimise messaging tools to ensure the brand message is accurately communicated through the correct use of appropriate advertising.
  • Create and implement testing procedures and then be able to feedback to the correct team
  • Work closely with the CRM team to create the most effective paid social media strategy for relevant media channels to ensure repeat purchases
  • Work alongside the content team and Social Media Executives to ensure paid search activity reaches new fans and followers
  • Report activity for paid social media channels constantly with detailed feedback which covers metrics to match marketing objectives
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to budgets and allow maximum creative output for required specification
  • Liaise with wider teams to ensure paid social media marketing supports new product launches
  • Ensure all paid social media activity meets brand objectives and that they reflect business principles
  • Support the Head of Marketing when it comes to developing new approaches and marketing tactics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness

 Key Attributes 

  • 3+ Marketing experience ideally using paid tools for social media
  • Experience of working in Retail would be advantageous
  • The ability to ensure all paid social media activity meets brand objectives and reflect business principles
  • Keep on top of competitors and industry activity to maximise brand potential
  • Bursting with ideas and knowledge to develop new approaches and marketing tactics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness
  • Highly numerical and able to crunch in order to analyse consumer behaviour
  • A marketing degree or equivalent would be highly advantageous in executing this role however candidates with strong relevant work experience will be considered
