As Europe’s largest independent online retailer, they are based in thriving Manchester with modern offices and close to transport links, the ideal candidate has the amazing opportunity to enhance their marketing skills and to work with a highly-established retailer! The Paid Search Manager will gain an overview of the complete digital marketing mix and have direct involvement of the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities of the Paid Search Executive

  • Support the manager and the marketing team in producing and distributing all marketing content across Google, focusing on Paid Search
  • Record all Paid Search activity on a daily basis and any activity must be tracked accurately using Google Analytics
  • Optimise activity for Paid Search to drive maximum possible return on ad spend from this performance outlet
  • Accurately identify trends and patterns in marketing data and then feedback recommendations for future plans
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to set budgets and ensure they mirror all creative and campaign requirements set by the retailer
  • Liaise with all teams to ensure Paid Search marketing continues to support new brand launches
  • Develop future testing plans for Paid Search to drive further testing initiatives
  • Keep on top of competitors and industry trends, ensuring the brand offers something constantly different and report anything back to the rest of the team

Key Skills

  • A relevant marketing degree would be advantageous in executing this role however this isn’t essential as relevant work experience is a preference
  • Experience of using Google Products such as- Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Experience of previously working in retail will be an advantage
  • Keenness to support the Manager in finding a fresh outlook and marketing tactics to improve campaign performance
  • Keep on top of competitors and industry activity to maximise brand potential
