One of the leading retail brands in the UK is searching for a new Multi-Channel Analyst to join their fantastic team!

Our client is one of the top names in retail today. Based in Bury this role is easily accessible from a number of residential areas in Manchester, Liverpool or Bolton.

The role will include managing and maintaining the group Google Analytics Premium account, implementing new functionalities and providing insights, analysis and recommendations summarised from the data discovered.

The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and productively in a team. It is essential that good interpersonal skills are on show as the role will involve working closely with stakeholders to both improve the organisations performance and to report findings to interior team members.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day operations and priorities of a small team.
  • Give insight and recommendations into analysis from across all channels.
  • Covering the relevant analysis and reporting requirements to the group through the use of Google Analytics
  • A hands-on approach to giving recommendations to improve the customer experience, profitability of the organisation and loyalty.
  • Manage and maintain the correct levels of access to all GA accounts across the group.
  • Guarantee the precise and reliable collection of data at all times, reconciling with internal and third-party systems to safeguard accuracy
  • Actively recognise and resolve GA tagging issues.
  • Be responsible for the setup of GA tagging for new platforms, channels and functionalities.
  • Manage tag progress and tracking parameter implementations
  • Lead the implementation of User ID tracking within our Google Analytics accounts -
  • Head the team in the development of multi-channel attribution methodologies across the team, away from 30-day last non-direct click and towards data driven attribution
  • Assist the UX team in the analysis of A/B testing programmes
  • Control team priorities through internal ticketing systems. Guarantee that colleagues requests are dealt with in as quick a time as possible.
  • Keeping track of development priorities using the JIRA system in conjunction with the multichannel technology team.
  • Develop and distribute exception reporting via GA to identify issues for resolution and follow-up on identified issues with key stakeholders in a timely manner

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Strong understanding an 3 years minimum experience working with web analytics
  • A minimum of 3 years history working in an eCommerce environment
  • Full and strong understanding of Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel
  • A background in digital marketing reporting on SEO, PPC etc.
  • A history of providing analysis and insight to key stakeholders, presenting data sets in an efficient manner.
  • History of management within a small team
  • Great level of interpersonal skills
