As the Head of Marketing, you'll be based in their Birmingham offices which are only a short distance away from the motorway and other public transport links; travelling to work shouldn't pose a problem for the successful candidate! The business is a UK leading provider of workplace services across the globe; therefore you'll be dealing with a range of different clients. The company is now seeking to appoint a new Head of Marketing who will be responsible for managing and enhancing the brand's reputation across all channels. You will also be required to lead and manage the activities which are carried out by the Category, Data and Core Marketing teams, in the hope of attaining sustainable, profitable revenue growth. No two days shall ever be the same!

The main responsibilities of the Head of Marketing :

  • Manage the implementation of the Category Marketing team, developing the key ranges of products and services with the company offers
  • Closely manage the reporting and analytical insights which relate to the performance of the Marketing department such as KPI, budget tracking and ROI
  • Oversee the creation of the forecasting and territory planning support for all the channels
  • Be accountable for the brand perception throughout the customer journey
  • Offer your support to the Sales Management Team with accurate and relevant KPI's
  • Liaise closely with both internal and external stakeholders in order to recognise new future opportunities
  • Ensure all staff are directed, motivated, reviewed and rewarded; offering training and development were necessary
  • Utilise the customer insights, category insights and data analytics to ensure full measured and optimally delivered campaigns
  • Create an effective promotional calendar campaign, spanning channel along with vertical and customer segments

The key skills and requirements :

  • A degree or equivalent which is relevant to the job is fundamental
  • Prior experience of working within a marketing environment - specifically within data driven marketing
  • Capable of leading and developing a team to meet their full potential
  • Currently working at a senior level within a marketing department, where contact with the Board level regularly occurs
  • Experienced with reporting and analytics
  • A self - starter who's also able to be a team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with also strong organisational skills
  • Awareness of competitor
  • A love of Marketing!
