Our client is a renowned digital media agency, who is famous for delivering integrated successful display advertising campaigns across multiple channels. This agency has only been in the industry for a few years, however, they are growing rapidly because of their continued success! They are therefore now looking for a Digital Trading Manager to manage their talented Trading team, who is responsible for delivering campaigns based on the newest technology solutions in the industry.

Reporting to the Trading Account Director, the Digital Trading Manager will be managing digital media campaigns for a specific area and run the full process from implementation to end reporting. It is, therefore, essential that the successful candidate has strong project management skills and have a clear understanding of how to optimise to achieve successful performance. The successful candidate will get essential training in Mobile, Social, Video and partner training.

Main responsibilities of the Digital Trading Manager

  • Manage the internal trading team and ensure all operational activities are going smoothly and targets are met. The Trading Manager will also give training to the Executives and Assistants in the team to ensure they are highly competent within the trading field.
  • Test and set up campaigns, whilst running the performance management
  • Report performance, billing and margins to senior management
  • Assist in supporting clients services by giving training and advice
  • Work closely with the marketing team with case studies and award entries
  • Be up to date on the new service offerings and trading tactics in the industry
  • Present new ideas and performance to key stakeholders and internal teams
  • Identify new ways to optimise processes and ideas to implement ground-breaking campaigns
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party partners and key clients

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role. Previous experience working in digital media is highly advantageous
  • Have a degree, where Business, Marketing, STEM fields are preferable
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in managing client relationships and partners
  • Good organisational skills and a personal drive to achieve best results
  • Great interpersonal skills to fit into an agency environment
  • A self-starter and positive attitude to all tasks
  • Great digital media knowledge
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Be innovative and creative
