If you’re an ambitious and enthusiastic sales professional with a passion for digital, this could be your dream job. Our client, a successful media sales company based in a thriving part of Manchester, has an exciting new vacancy for a Digital Sales Manager. 

The business is searching for someone with a good knowledge of the media environment, who can forge partnerships with agencies across the UK. This is a fantastic career opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys developing relationships with key stakeholders and creating bespoke media solutions to suit their needs. The Digital Sales Manager will identify key influencers and at all levels and approach them within all teams and understand their businesses including challenges and limitations.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Sales Manager

  • Understands digital with a background in Media, Agency, Client or publishing
  • Build and maintaining relationships across agencies in order to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Identify influencers and decisions makers within key agencies and understand their roles, businesses and the climate of their industries
  • Create robust business plans, forecasting and delivering revenue
  • Develop business opportunities presenting the business services to agency and client stakeholders
  • Work closely with Account Managers to acquire new and existing business opportunities
  • Create creative responses to client briefs with a commercial mindset
  • Update and maintain revenue records within Salesforce and manage this pipeline effectively

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong positive work ethic with a natural ambition and desire to succeed
  • Strong experience working with online media clients within and agency focusing on digital sales
  • Proactive in business development and hungry and for new leads and revenue streams
  • A self-motivated self-starter that is well read and up to date on digital sales and techniques
  • Knowledge of programmatic sales and can give up to date credible advice
  • Experience in Salesforce and CRM systems would be highly advantageous
