The Key Responsibilities of the Digital PR/Earned Media Director:

  • Design and implement successful and cutting edge Digital PR and Earned Media strategies
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with journalists, bloggers and key industry influencers
  • Oversee the management of the Earned Media and PR teams ensuring that each team member understands what is required of them
  • Liaise with the SEO and Content departments to generate ground-breaking outreach content campaigns
  • Offer assistance to all marketing activities throughout the company
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and changes
  • Mentor and train the other team members providing them with the skills they need to succeed

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Capable of building strong working relationships with key figures within the industry
  • Phenomenal analytical and evaluation skills are also necessary for the job
  • Excellent writing and copywriting skills are fundamental for the role
  • Keen to stay up to date on news within the industry
  • Strong research, organisational and planning skills
  • Proficient in people and client management as well as being a strong charismatic networker
  • Comfortable leading a team
