This integrated marketing team are looking for a candidate to produce a key part of their business strategy in the aim to drive further growth of the company. The company provide fantastic outdoor holidays across Europe and they are currently expanding their digital strategy, therefore, they are looking for an experienced Digital Merchandising and Content Manger to develop and implement a multi-channel content strategy in order to drive growth.

The Digital Merchandising and Content Manager will be required to optimise the performance of the business’ online content whilst also enhancing the customer’s experience through implementing an innovative and effect content strategy. Another key area of the role will involve the successful candidate creating and executing a successful merchandising strategy in order to generate engaging promotions and campaigns across the company’s’ websites. The successful candidate is required to have extensive CMS experience!

The Main Responsibilites of the Digital Merchandising and Content Manager:

  • Create and implement a successful strategy which will drive forward both the merchandising and content elements of the website whilst also aiming to enhance the customers experience.
  • Contribute towards the business’ goals by liaising with the marketing and digital departments in order to create an innovative content strategy.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on current trends and incorporate these into the merchandising strategy when applicable to ensure that the company is ahead
  • Aid with the optimisation of the business’ website including SEO techniques, web analytics data and eCommerce insight
  • Manage all processes of content online using CMS
  • Sustain a consistent tone of voice across all brand communications either directly or by managing external copywriters:
  • Support and develop Digital Merchandising Content Executive in their understanding and ability to produce effective content 

The Key Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a Content Management System
  • Experienced integrated content marketing for digital channels
  • Familiar with and knowledge of the travel industry is desirable
  • Outstanding writing skills and particular attention to detail
  • A detailed understanding of SEO and familiarity of optimising content for search
  • Able to work in a fast paced, high pressure and deadline orientated digital team
  • Experienced in using analytics to evaluate and improve performance
  • Familiarity of graphics and Adobe suite is desirable
