The Digital Marketing Executive will work on the full scope of digital marketing activities in the company from enhancing B2C branding and planning effective digital marketing and email marketing campaigns. It is therefore highly beneficial if the successful candidate has previous CRM experience and hands-on experience in creating and enhancing online presence, as the Digital Marketing Executive will be a vital part of our client’s new website launch.

Our client is a successful family-owned interior business in a nice and friendly office located in North Manchester, which is easily accessible with public transportation. They are on a journey to increase their B2C target market, so they are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Executive who can continue to develop their B2B online trade portal and build up a consumer website through strong content and effective digital marketing campaigns. Our client has established a relaxed working environment, where each employee gets flexibility in their role and therefore room to progress quickly.

Main responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive

  • Daily Social Media activity and digital marketing – and email marketing campaign planning
  • Work closely with external agencies for B2B and B2C campaign activities
  • Create and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase web traffic and user engagement through Social Media, Email Campaigns and use Google Adwords for effective PPC and SEO strategies
  • Organise databases according to specific categories although maintain separate B2B and B2C databanks
  • Use analytical tools like Google Analytics to report website activity and performance to the Marketing Manager
  • Manage website issues and queries
  • Ensure the B2B portal is up to date and used by retailers whilst running Email Marketing campaigns to increase engagement
  • Create engaging content, landing pages and ensure the website is constantly up to date with the newest product launches and news
  • Keep up to date with the digital marketing trends and the global interior retail market

Required skills and attributes of the Digital Marketing Executive

  • Strong digital knowledge and previous experience of implementing digital marketing and email marketing campaigns
  • Previous experience in implementing B2C and B2B friendly websites
  • Previous experience in CMS and content management with both B2C and B2B websites, where HTML and CSS skills would be highly beneficial
  • Proven track record of customer relationship management and working closely with suppliers and external stakeholders
  • Great graphic design skills
  • Ability to use UAT and conduct customer experience surveys
  • Experience in creating engaging content using Adobe Photoshop
  • Previous experience in identifying effective digital marketing techniques and implement them according to the business needs
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
