Our client is proud to be one of the leading online fashion retailers and is proud to have built a strong brand in the industry. They base the majority of their business decisions on data, which has resulted in a rapid growth of their Insight Team, who is now on the hunt for a Customer Insight Analyst to join the department! This role is created to stronger decisions based on key detailed data analysis and support the CRM marketing strategies.

The Customer Insight Analyst will be running key analysis and report directly to the CRM and other internal teams, to enhance the customer targeting through acquisition, retention and engagement. There is great autonomy in the role, where the successful candidate can enjoy implementing own ideas and build strong relationships across the entire business. This is a great role to build your analytical skills and grow rapidly in the role!

Main responsibilities of the Customer Insight Analyst

  • Build extensive knowledge based on customer data and report insights for campaign optimisation
  • Test learning programs across the Digital marketing and CRM teams to convert insights into results and give valuable recommendations for the strategy development
  • Identify areas for improvement and growth based on data analysis through the website, transactional and CRM systems
  • Work closely with the Marketing Finance and Analytics Manager with marketing reporting and analysis
  • Co-operate with the Data Science team to build new techniques to target customers more effectively

Required skills and attributes of the candidate

  • Have a degree preferably within a numerical field, mathematics or similar
  • Strong numerical skills and great commercial mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Extremely organised and driven
  • Previous experience working with Big Data
  • Be a self-starter and self-motivated, as the successful candidate will have a lot of freedom in their role
  • Be a team player, but able to work towards set KPIs and with tight deadlines
  • It is advantageous if the candidate has previous experience working with direct marketing, campaigns and analytics
