Our client are a creative production company based in a trendy area of South Manchester. They are undergoing a time of expansion and they need a Business Development Manager to maintain excellent relationships with clients as well as new business development and generate new leads that will drive revenue.  

They are a close knit team who work hard but also play hard!

Key roles and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager

  • Constantly searching and striving for the best for current accounts to solidify working relationships as well as seek new and potential customers
  • Network within the industry in order to drive new business and build brand presence and reputation through delivering excellence for customers
  • Pitch for new business knowing them inside out
  • Keep on top of what matters in the industry and customer industries in order to offer a relevant tailored service
  • Work hard to have excellent relationships with other key stakeholders to have long and lasting working relationships

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in business development in an agency
  • Expert knowledge of the product lifecycle
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and able to motivate and communicate effectively to others
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Experience pitching for new business and the tender process
  • A bursting black book of contacts would be highly advantageous
