Situated in Manchester, our client’s office is located just 15 minutes from the City Centre which means that the successful candidate will be able to indulge in everything that Manchester has to offer. The office is also conveniently located near the motorway and a train station so the commute shouldn’t pose a problem for the triumphant candidate! The B2B Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the yearly marketing plans whilst also overseeing the general communications of the organisation. The B2B Marketing Manager and the Managing Director will be working directly together to facilitate all of the marketing activities including social media, SEO and PPC, therefore, the ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the full marketing mix; both traditional and digital. It will also entail the B2B Marketing Manager delivering the correct message to customers, employees and potential business. Effective communication skills are key to this role, as they will be liaising closely with third party agencies to ensure that all adverts and other marketing materials are delivered to the highest standard possible.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • A degree in Marketing or a relevant subject is essential for the role
  • Experience in a B2B environment is also vital
  • Proven experience of working with the technology industry is also a requirement
  • Previous experience of working closely with the sales function in order to target specific market sectors
  • Sound understanding of the full marketing mix, both traditional and digital
  • Comfortable working in a hands on role whilst also eventually building a team
  • A strong understanding of email marketing and capable of identifying ESP’s
  • Capable of segmenting data in order to develop targeted campaigns
  • Has an excellent entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong commercial awareness and a drive to succeed
  • Extensive experience in both lead generation and lead nurturing
  • Possess a knowledge of digital including CRM, SEO and PPC
  • A creative thinker who thrives off delivering cutting-edge campaign ideas
  • Fantastic communication, organisation and budget management skills are vital
  • Good design skills in Photoshop would be desirable however this is not essential!
  • An awareness of the industry!
